How can a startup with a barely existent budget bootstrap a marketing program?

Ming Chong, of ‘We Knock Your Socks Off’ (aka WEKYSO STUDIO), is showing startup businesses in Perth how to market their business. In collaboration with the Nest’s Think Tank Group, Ming is helping startup businesses through the Book Yourself Solid® system to reach their target market and gain their ideal clients.

Many startup businesses flounder because the business gets the wrong customers, too many customers, or no customers at all. Often a startup’s strengths — are also a startup’s weaknesses. As a contrarian marketer, Ming leads startups through developing their brand, building position of trust, differentiate and increase their likeabililty to attract clients.

You might think that all startups have these qualities. But the real differentiator is how a startup expresses these values to their ideal customers.

Bootstrapping Becomes The Velvet Rope

Rather than ‘bootstrapping’ (trying to create an automated, self-sustaining marketing program) Ming shows startups how to create ‘the velvet rope’ policy in their business. The velvet rope is a metaphor for the prestige of the invitation to do business.

The Book Yourself Solid® group is held at the Nest in Victoria Park. You don’t have to be a member of the Nest’s flexible office space to participate in the event. Carefully selected participants will gain the knowledge that gets their business to be seen, heard, and remembered. Learn, and practice strategies that will improve your business, and demonstrate your true values that draw people to you. Your fellow startups in the group will motivate you, and hold you accountable to your goals. Find out how you can build a lean marketing program on a bootstrap budget!

The Book Yourself Solid® group will meet every fortnight to learn 12 marketing strategies. The group is limited to 10 participants and and fees will cover the worksheets and 3 hours of a one to one session with Ming.

Book a free seat on 24th June or 1st July for an introductory session and a chance to be part of a group of like-minded people.
