Spacecubed have announced their new co-working space, called Flux. Here’s the press release:

We are excited to announce a partnership with Western Australian property group Hawaiian in a venture to create a new and very different coworking space in Perth: FLUX

We will be working with Hawaiian Group to build FLUX over 1400sqm that spans three floors in Parmelia House at 191 St Georges Terrace.

Our core goal is supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in Western Australia and this will greatly increase our capacity through building a world class and inspiring space but also new programs and creative partnerships. This space will also facilitate Corporate and Government teams working on new products and services.

Members will have access to Spacecubed, Sync Labs and FLUX along with a range of existing and new programs to take their ideas to market more quickly.

We will also be introducing a limited number of offices which are already being reserved so please be sure to contact us or reply to this email for more information and a site visit.

FLUX will also have a number of corporate partnership opportunities so contact us to find out how you can be involved.

This is a huge step forward to fostering entrepreneurship in Perth!

Register for more information at the FLUX website and help us design the space over the coming months.

We spoke to Brodie about the project, and he had this to say:

“We recently completed a full survey of our members were two key things came through loud and clear; the first being that they would like access to different and inspiring spaces and second was that they were looking for more programs and learning opportunities to move their ideas forward. FLUX will deliver on both of these while providing a very different space that will inspire and provide new opportunities for collaboration. “

He also gave the impression that the new space will allow larger events, certainly something that the community needs.

Perth getting a functioning VC again would be nice, too!
