Techboard partners with Techknow Invest Roadshow and goes National
Techboard is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Techknow Invest Roadshow. The Roadshow which is visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne is put together by Vertical Events and PPR and features 18 listed and prelisted Tech companies and unlisted startups, most of whom are from Western Australia. As part of this partnership Techboard is providing all companies presenting at the Roadshow with a profile on Techboard where content from the Techknow event can be viewed post conference by conference delegates and any investors from Western Australia who were unable to make the trip to the east coast. Investors will also be able to view updates from any of the presenting companies that are made through Techboard’s announcements platform.
The partnership with the TechKnow Invest Roadshow also marks a milestone in Techboard’s mission to become the place for startups and tech companies from all over Australia to get noticed (until now companies needed to have a strong Western Australian connection to be eligible to list). The relationship will also strengthen Techboard’s position as a place to discover intelligence and insights on Australian technology companies and startups.
We have recently week gone live with a revised homepage which we hope will aid readers of the site to gain greater insight into what Techboard is all about before they start exploring. With this new widgetised structure we can readily add new components such as the pending Problem Solver Listings that will come on stream soon (read below). Have a look at Techboard’s new look here.

Categories refresh completed
We have also recently completed a project to refresh the categories on Techboard reducing the numbers down from over 100 to 30. We hope this aids both in category selection by companies listed but also makes it easier for visitors to the site to find what they are after. Companies who have claimed their profiles should come and check out their profiles and review their categories.
Problem solver platform completed
We have finally finished the development of our new problem solvers platform, where Startups will be able to find validated service providers to help solve their problems, from getting money, legal structuring to programming and design. We are now signing up our first problem solvers to start to populate the directory and will be going live with the directory soon. For any problem solver to be listed in our directory they must be validated by a startup or tech company listed on Techboard. So if you have a profile on Techboard, you may be receiving an email generated by our system to validate a connection with a problem solver who has helped you in the past. Problem solvers please get in touch if you would like to be one of the first on our platform.
Since our last update 1 month ago we have had over 20 announcements made on our platform from startups and listed companies, with several product launch and partnering announcements as well as general progress updates. Here are some highlights… but go to Techboard to see more.
