Global Social Network Tiinkk Revolutionises Decision Making

Joshua Winterton is a 21 year old Perth entrepreneur who came up with the idea for Tiinkk in July 2012.

He had been shopping in the city with a friend and noticed his generation always shopped in couples to small groups. He remembers driving down Mitchell Feeeway afterwards and realising that this was based around the idea of validation. That when making decisions the vast majority of people want the validation from their peer and social circles. Joshua felt at the time there wasn’t really a network that allowed this to occur where the feedback was valuable and intuitive.

So he built one.

“Tiinkk originated from the idea of being able to directly access the thoughts and opinions from friends, followers and the public in real time from anywhere in the world. It was very exciting as I quickly realised the business potential allowing brands to access opinions from their consumers and the consumers having the opportunity to influence their favourite brands from all over the globe.” says Joshua.

“Throughout this I journey I began formulating my directive team with initially two friends of mine, Aaden Halbert who was a pipe fitter on Barrow island and Danny Porcaro who is a real estate agent. However this quickly changed and expanded as we completed our seed round of $300k from a range of different investors. We are currently going into our second capital raising to extend our platform reach, functionality, growth and development”

Tiink just released a new component to their product, so it seems things are going well indeed for these lads. Read their press release below.

Tiinkk lets user’s crowd source opinions via images and capture live data to make informed decisions based on what their community thinks or likes.

Want to know which shoes to buy? Which dress to wear tonight? New haircut? Imagine getting feedback from hundreds or even thousands of users within a predefined timeframe to help make your decision.

Tiinkk revolutionises the way we are influenced and allows you access to an entire world of people outside of your network.

Tiinkkers have the ability to reach out to the whole Tiinkk community, just their followers, or send a private direct Tiinkk. They can earn points of influence every time they vote for a winning outcome, which gives them recognition amongst other Tiinkkers.

But the real value of Tiinkk, is giving the users the power to influence their favourite brands and their product offering. How? By giving users the ability to vote in real time and influencing brands and companies to make commercial decisions.

What’s in it for companies, you ask? As a company the data collected from the app gives valuable insight to what consumers actually want, and lets the consumer and company engage in a way that makes marketers froth.

Why? Because Tiinkkers are primed to participate in a way that Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram have failed to capitalise.

The long awaited launch of the web app has arrived. This now means users can share their Tiinkks amongst their Facebook and Twitter fans to get an even higher response, whilst also using our natively built Google Chrome extension and bookmarklet.

So – why think, when you can Tiinkk? http://tiinkk.com/
