Atomic Sky Tech Hub Update – 24 April 2014

Over this past week at the Atomic Sky Tech Hub, we’ve been pretty full-on in the lead up to the much needed Easter break, (chocolate!), and family time for everyone in the office.

We had a lot of curious people showing their interest and coming through our doors, liking the idea of the collaborative zone and the potential it holds for business start-ups. Identifying the need for a space like this, they’ve loved the idea that the Tech Hub will serve as a place for all to come together and share ideas, work on projects, have a relaxed meeting or even read a magazine and keep up to date on industry trends in our creative zone fitted with a funky rug, board games and the lot.

From all this talking and meeting we’ve secured in more people to attend our exciting opening on the 30th of March.

Speaking of employment, we’ve got a new intern on the scene! Joining our recently recruited passionate entrepreneurial intern, Belinda Simpson; is Fran Lee, a Marketing and Psychology student from UWA who’ll no doubt offer interesting insights and new perspectives on tasks here at Atomic Sky. Fran’s passionate about food and is ready to gain some practical experience in the field of marketing from mentors and industry professionals that her textbooks just won’t provide. Fantastic addition to the team!

With more and more in place around the office, and everything coming together it’s becoming clearer just how close we are to housing some serious start-up ideas. Everyone in the workplace is very excited with the progression that’s happened lately and where Atomic Sky is set to go.

If you’re interested in the Tech Hub be sure to keep updated as we’ve got sundowners and events in the pipeline at the moment, providing great friendly networking opportunities and a chance to meet other like-minded people in potentially similar fields, or at the least, similar stages of business as you.

Our opening only being a week away, we’ve still got to organise and finalise numbers with those that would love to attend. If you’re interested in our open day (with homemade cookies and lemonade!) be sure to contact Arna at [email protected] before the end of the week.
