RAC Seedspark Winners 2015

RAC, in partnership with Perth’s largest entrepreneurial hub Spacecubed, today announced the three startups selected to receive $20,000 in seed funding and participation in RAC’s 2016 SeedSpark accelerator program.

The startups have been selected from applicants across Western Australia and will commence the intensive eight-week program in February 2016.

“This year’s startup finalists have earnt a place in the RAC SeedSpark program with their vision to build a better WA, we are especially proud to announce our very first Member’s Choice Award in which over 250,000 RAC members were invited to vote for a solution they’d like to see in our community.”

RACSeedSpark Group WinnersThe startups joining RAC’s 2016 SeedSpark program are:

  • Yabble: Online marketplace where parents can discover, book and pay for after-school activities. Course providers can list their businesses on the platform, where they can also manage payments.
  • My Guide: Mobile app that helps users plan and share their trips. The app documents travel experiences, bookings, photos, videos and reviews, which can be shared with and searched by other travellers based on profile and trip characteristics.

This year’s RAC Member’s Choice was awarded to:

  • CareCollective: Online disability directory providing families with greater transparency in the search for quality service providers. Support workers can list their skills and availability for free, whilst families can search according to preferences and reviews. CareCollective is a not-for-profit organisation.
