As many of you now know, the Perth Startup Community has been rocked with the news of Andrew Halls’ passing. A Celebration of Life will be held for Andrew on Thursday 27th of December 10am at Henry Sutton Cove in Halls Head.
UPDATED POST: with details of the ‘Celebration of Life’ service.
Andrew’s loss is a huge blow to all of us in the local startup community and we know many in our community are struggling to come to terms with his death. Please reach out to anyone you think may be affected by this heartbreaking news and offer whatever support you can.
Andrew was a gentle man, a kind and caring person and was ever generous with his time, support and encouragement for many aspiring entrepreneurs both in Perth and further afield. He was one of our own and his absence from our community will hurt for quite some time to come.
We all need to come together and look out for each other at times like these. Most of all, we have the both the opportunity and responsibility to honour Andrew’s legacy by showing our support to his family.
One of Andrew’s many close friends in our community Hilton Davidow has kindly created a GoFundMe page for us all to contribute to the financial costs associated with his death.
Please help us support Andrew’s family and show them how much he meant to us by donating what you can. It’s the season of going the extra mile to help care for those in need.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this news and this spread the word on this campaign in with anyone you feel would like to help…
Thank you all for your support and generosity.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Andrew at 10am on Thursday, December 27th at Henry Sutton Cove in Halls Head.
You’ll find all the service details HERE and everyone is welcome. An obituary is posted here.
Rest in Peace Andrew.
