The Enkel Collective are at it again. Lack of premises is not stopping these people from getting their dream made real.
Governments collect and publish enormous amounts of data, but have limited resources to get it into the hands of their citizens in engaging ways. GovHack is an event to draw together people from government, industry, academia and of course, the general public to mashup, reuse, and remix government data. GovHack is about finding new ways to do great things and encouraging open government and open data.
Introducing Perth’s new regular startup pitch night! Hosted at Atomic Sky’s brand new TechHub in Northbridge, and MC’d by the //Startup News team, we’re pleased to announce a regular pitch night for the Perth startup community.
Apparently the YOW Conference is a big thing, it started in Denmark as the Java and Object Orientation Conference – JAOO pronounced “YOW”, was brought to Australia in 2007 and has been going on over east every year since then; Perth companies regularly send developers there to learn stuff.
